A vast range of British outline products is now available for OO gauge model railways from many manufacturers including Hornby, Bachmann, Peco, Gaugemaster, Metcalf and Superquick. With the introduction of Digital control modellers now have the opportunity to control several locos on one piece of track, thus creating even more realism. The traditional analogue system will always be available and for many modellers this is still the preferred option.
N gauge allows the modeller to build a fantastic layout in a quarter of the space used in OO gauge. The smaller scale is not as suitable for small hands and is, therefore, usually the choice of adults. The range of producst is now larger than ever.
